President Javier Milei will head this Monday at 11 a.m. the swearing-in ceremony for superior officers of the Argentine Naval Prefecture, the Federal Police, the National Gendarmerie, the Airport Security Police, and the Federal Penitentiary Service. As learned by the Noticias Argentinas Agency, the sword delivery ceremony will take place in the White Hall of the Casa Rosada and will feature the participation of Alejandra Monteoliva, successor to Patricia Bullrich at the head of the Ministry of Security. This will be the first event that Monteoliva will head at the helm of the portfolio following Bullrich's resignation, a new senator for La Libertad Avanza, who will also be present at the event. In a letter dated effective December 1, 2025, the former official stated: 'I have the honor to address you to present my resignation from the position of Minister of National Security, effective as of December 1, 2025.' Likewise, she highlighted that she received the 'clear mandate' to 'take care of Argentines, take care of those who take care of us, face crime with decision and recover order on the streets,' and thanked for the 'trust' and 'support of the entire team' that accompanied her. The then National Secretary of Security will be sworn in as minister next Tuesday at Casa Rosada.
